More Than Conquerers

When you’re going to attack someone, what would you do first? Do you find a random place to sit and wait until they pass by and then pounce? Or do you strategically learn their pattern, find the right place and time, watch them, learn their habits and wait for right time to attack. When they are vulnerable, weak, not paying attention or seemingly weak. Do you attack them at their strongest point or do you find that sweet weak spot that they forgot to guard? Think about it! If you’re smart and crafty and want to take out your opponent, you wait for the right time to attack. Well that is exactly what the enemy does!! He sits and watches you. Waiting to attack because he knows that you belong to God and that you have purpose and you are a threat to his evil plans. But my sister, do not be afraid! Know that these attacks and troubled waters are necessary but that you are not alone. The enemy will attack, yes, but he has limitations because of the blood of Christ Jesus that is saturated you. Just like he had to ask our Father’s permission to tempt Job, so he must do the same with you! You are God’s precious creation and workman (Psalm 139:14) and He has made you to weather these storms, these spiritual attack, everything that seems to be an all out war on your peace, your joy, your sanity, self-esteem, family, friends, everything!

The bible says we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37)! A conqueror is someone who overcomes something and our Father is telling us what we are more than that! He is literally telling us that  we are more than victors! Our Abba already knew what trials and tribulations, what wars and battle we would face but He is telling you today that He has already stamped all of those battles with His stamp of victory and our Father is not man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). But we have to persevere through these troubled waters and all of these spiritual attacks (Hebrews 10:36). We must go through the fire so to become refined children of God. Remember this: Christ overcame death and died to save us and make us free and the enemy hates that! The enemy feel from the grace of God and he wants what we have but he can’t have the kingdom of God so he tries to come and attack God’s children. But he will not win! You are on the right side my love. The enemy’s sole purpose to to lie, kill, steal and destroy but our Father, Our Abba wants to give us joy, freedom, life, restoration and to renew our souls.

Do you believe today that He will guide you through the storm! I read this quote the other day that really got me thinking:

I asked God, “Why are you taking me through troubled water?” He replied, “Because your enemies can’t swim”

God is still protecting you in this storm. He isn’t going to just make the rain stop or take away the issue but He will guide you through it. He will teach and cleanse you through it. My loves trust the process, don’t lose courage and know though you may feel attacked right now that joy does come in the morning and that all these will work out for God’s glory because again He has made us more than conquerors, He has plans to prosper us (Jeremiah 29:11), He strengthens us in our weakness and we are His children. What Father doesn’t want good for His children especially a good good and perfect Abba such as ours!

Know that I too am going through my troubled waters and feeling attack but I am planting myself firmly in God’s truths, His promises and His love for me. I am using my community to help me through this and if you are struggling, know that I am praying for you and I am here if you want to talk or to pray it out.

I love you. God loves you! XOXO
